We had to make the tough decision to put our beloved dog Zach to sleep this afternoon. Two large tumors had formed in his mouth and he could no longer eat. He was miserable and not himself. He was our friend and family member for 11 years and 3 months. We will miss him very much and love him always.

oh and that is my sons name too:)
So sorry to hear your news. It is always hard to part with a four footed family member...we found a wonderful book for our children when our dog passed away...Doggie Heaven.

zach will definitely be missed. i remember a few years ago when you guys were away, and i was put in charge of watching him, and he somehow escaped from the backyard and into the park, and i thought you guys were going to kill me for losing your dog. but i eventually got him to come back over to me, and i carried him back to the house like the scene from "the bodyguard." friggin zach...you couldn't stay mad at him! hopefully, he's running around a park in dog heaven...
