Whole Lotta Changes

Where do I begin? I guess I will start by letting you know we have moved to PA! Yes, it has consumed almost this whole year and taken us on a wild roller coaster ride, but we are officially Pennsylvania-ites. Long story short is about this time last year we considered adding on to the house we were in for the 4th time but just did not want to go through it. We were also frustrated with our town and NJ as a whole for all the money we were shelling out to be living in a 60 yr old home with no land. Steve got the bright idea to move to PA. I fought him at first, but agreed to go look. We found a new community that we fell in love with. So, house on the market in Feb, sold in June. Moved into my Aunt and Uncle's place until Sept, when we moved into my parents place and David started a new school. On Ava's 3rd birthday (a week ago yesterday) we closed and moved into our brand new home! There were bumps along the way, but now that we are there, they are just a distant memory. David started another new school Monday and is doing very well. Ava and David will be cared for by a woman that the school recommended while Steve and I are at work. Ava will be there about 2.5 to 3 hrs a day and David about .5 to 1 hour. My parents have requested to watch them 1 day a week, so on Thursdays they will have Grandparent time. We are very happy with our beautiful new home and new State! I can still get to NJ in 5 minutes, so I am STILL a Jersey Girl...but without the taxes ;)

Wow - It has been a LONG time...I hope everyone is well. The four of us here in EB, NJ are doing just fine. David is thoroughly enjoying Kindergarten and Ava will start 1/2 days at a new school/daycare later this month. Steve is still working the late shift after taking care of the kids all day. I am still at the same company but moved into a new department and love it. I have the kids at night. We have been thinking about moving for a long time now and are taking our first step this week by putting our house on the market. Wish us luck!

I thought this was a perfect day for me to RISE AGAIN. All is fine here in Boettger-ville...just a bit sick and busy. I do want you all to have a very Happy Halloween. I'll post pix of the kids later.

My cousin Jackie brought a guy-friend with her to the RU game this past weekend. His name is Eben and she had dated him in the past so we all knew him and were thrilled to see him again. But no one was as thrilled as Ava. She totally fell in love. So much so, that I bought her a new baby doll Monday and when I asked her the name she responded....EBEN! Now that is true love.

Yesterday my new laptop arrived! It's been over a month since we ordered it as my birthday gift. I could not wait to get it but I was so busy last night, that I almost did not get a chance to open it. Right before I headed up to bed I broke down, opened it up and fell in love. I love the color, the lightness and the sleekness. I also could not believe how easy it was to set up! I basically turned it on and answered a few questions. I was up and running in like 8 minutes! Super excited. I can not wait to load some photos on and start learning my 2 new photoshop programs.

Happy Birthday Grandmom

Today is my Grandmom's birthday. This year is extra special to me, due to her battle with breat cancer. She has had her surgery to remove it and is doing well, but started radiation therapy last week. My parents are taking my kids over to see her after David gets off the bus and I will meet them there on my way home from work. I am just so very thankful and happy that I can celebrate her again this year.
